How did the governments react to Covid-19? What measures did they put in place? What was the real effect on population? In this second post, we check the correlation between the measures taken by governments and the effect in the number of cases, with ten additional countries: Canada, Mexico, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Australia, Great Britain, South Korea, Israel and Russia. There is only significant correlation between government measures and positive rate in Australia and Great Britain for lag -4 weeks. No correlation found in the other countries.
