After a long and good reflection, we will restart this BLOG taking advantage of all the good analysis done in the last three years and focusing on the main variables to explain the performance of countries, as political organisations. We will also try to increase the projection assessments by looking more carefully to the time evolution of the relevant variables.
We will consider the following concepts as good performance of a country:
- Long life expectancy.
- High Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita.
- Low levels of debt in relation to GDP.
- Low levels of inflation.
Moreover, we will try to identify variables indicating the sustainability of the performance, leading to potential changes in the future trends, like innovation, natural resources or wealth distribution.
Finally, there should be also a bigger components of opinion based on the data being analysed, always trying to be objective and not biased by previous opinions.
